Hoover - POOR PRODUCT, WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Bought a new Hoover UH72400 in April, 2017. Opened it last week when the other vac went out.
The old one had been on the fritz. The new Hoover was missing a piece. Upon research, I discovered it was an inlet tube grommet. I called customer service and was transferred once, and on hold for a total of 15 minutes.
It took another 13 minutes for the tech to research the product. The issue was resolved by telling me that my new Hoover would not be covered under warranty because they would have to order the entire assembly and not the piece that didn't come with the product. I was referred to a service center. This piece would take approximately 5 minutes for the average consumer to install.
It does not need to be serviced.
I guess if you want a good product, don't buy Hoover and definitely do not call them if there are issues with your product. They like to play pass the buck.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $129.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
